Sandra Roberts – Marcelline
Sandra Roberts is firmly established as one of the leading sopranos in the East Midlands. She has sung with a number of Theatre Groups for which her many roles have included: Eliza (My Fair Lady), Marsinah (Kismet), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance) and Josephine (HMS Pinafore). Sandra currently sings with New England Chorale and as a past member of The Midlands Chorale Sandra has performed Fauré’s Requiem and other Oratorio works throughout the Midlands. Operatic roles have included Michaela in Carmen at The Leicester Haymarket Theatre, Madame Butterfly at The Derby Playhouse, Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte, Georgette in Il Tabarro and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, all performed with Knighton Opera in Leicester. Previous roles with operahouse are Papagena in Magic Flute and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. Sandra has studied with Jean Allister and is coached by Phillip Gilbert. When not singing, Sandra enjoys playing golf and the challenge of running her own Corporate Hospitality/Event Management Company, giving her the opportunity to travel and sing around the World.
